We must teach our children to smell the earth, to taste the rain, to touch the wind, to see things grow, to see the sunrise and nightfall - to care.

THINK Global School uses the term "weXplore" to describe a set of educational expeditions that occur for one week while they are in various parts of the world. Students travel to a different region within the country and engage in experiential learning to gain a better understanding of the country. Each weXplore trip has a specific theme or topic and involves hands-on projects and activities in local communities. The aim of weXplore is to offer students a fresh perspective or a more profound appreciation of the country they are discovering.

Understanding WeXplore

During our time in Greece, students of THINK Global School were sent on a thrilling weXplore expedition to Volos, Greece. This five-day adventure was unique as the students could only use their own bodies to explore the area. They took on the challenge of hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, and a via ferrata to discover the beauty of the region. As the trip came to an end, the group took a boat trip to a stunning island where they spent the night in a monastery, creating unforgettable memories.

This weXplore had a special goal in mind: to celebrate the successes and challenges the group had faced as a community throughout the year, rebuild their relationships, and enjoy the last week together before some of them departed after graduating.

Overall, this expedition was a wonderful opportunity for the students to bond, appreciate the beauty of Greece, and push themselves to explore the region in a new and exciting way.
